Muka Media is pleased to announce that it has providing administration and project management services to the Independent Black Filmmakers Collective NPC.

The Independent Black Filmmakers Collective (IBFC) is a membership-based collaborative business-to-business, networking and advocacy group that was formed in 2017 by wholly black-owned African audio-visual companies, representing filmmakers, and audio-visual entrepreneurs in South Africa. The IBFC’s primary aim is to accelerate transformation, increase trade and job creation through enterprise development, and in so doing contribute to addressing issues of skills development, while engaging with business and government on issues of policy change, advocacy and speaking as “one voice” for black businesses and filmmakers, in the audio-visual sector. The IBFC at present comprises of 30 member companies and is managed by a Board of 7 members.
